Welcome to National American Legion Riders Regional Information Center NEW! Southern Virginia ALRSponsored by one of the largest Posts in the East, Post 284 is located in Colonial Heights, VA- located right on I95 and only a minute north of the junction of I85. We are brand new, this past February, and growing fast. We'd like to get representation from Legion, SAL, and Auxiliary all over this area of the state. You do NOT have to change your affiliation with your favorite post or squadron to join with us. We are Vets united in the desire to ride our bikes, represent the Legion and of course, our Country, in a positive light. At this early stage, we are kind of flying by the seat of our pants- haven't picked a permanent date/time to have meetings yet. We try to stay way from the admin junk as much as possible- or at least, that is the goal, once we get all the startup details taken care of. All 35 of our charter members are looking forward to some great rides this year, beginning with Rolling Thunder on Memorial Day through Rumble Thru the Tunnels this fall. We want to meet others in the state that can lead us to great riding roads from around the Bay to the best of the mountains! Please visit our website (should be linked to my name) and contact one of the officers- we'd love to hear from you. And for those of you attending the spring Legion conference in VA Beach this 24-26 March, look for me in the evening with the ALR t-shirt, or find the Colonial Heights Post 284 hospitality suite and ask for Jimbo, Herbie, Mike or Patches, and we'll get you started. Let's Ride! |
Who's OnlineGuest Users: 5RALRICWelcome to RALRIC!This section has been set up to allow ALRs in various areas a more targetted means of communications than the NALRIC and ALR, Inc. message boards. It is "experimental" - but should serve the intended purpose. Bear with! |
