Northeast Chapter Starting - Need Members

New Jersey ALRs

Hello fellow NJ Legionnaires, Auxiliary and SAL
My Post 226 in River Edge NJ (Bergen County) is sponsoring a chapter. I brought up the idea of starting a chapter at a meeting recently. After giving a brief introduction about the Riders, members voted and it was approved. I've been in contact with the NJ State Chapter and made them aware that we are starting a chapter in this viscinity and they are all for it. Now I need members who are interested in joining. Remember, you don't have to be a member of my Post 226. Just a member of the American Legion, Auxiliary or SAL. You will wear your Post number above the ALR emblem colors. If you are interested, I have setup a form on our website. Just fill in the information and send it to me. I will be in contact with you and let you know a date when we will have our first meeting at Post 226. Or you can call my home phone number at 201-439-0053 and I will return your call. Come on and let's start a great chapter! Thank you.
