We at Chapter 5 in Jaffrey are planning a ride for July 11th, 2009. We have decided to make this a weekend camp out as well so that we might get to know each other a little better and make it more of a family event.
The ride to the Boscawen Cemetery will start at 1030am or so (depending on when the POW vigil is in Boscawen) on Saturday and afterwards there will be food, live music, horseshoe tournament, etc.
For those who might be coming from afar, the gates will open at 3pm on Friday to stay over before the ride as well. (This will be at the Rod and Gun club in Jaffrey)
Feel free to bring a camper or a tent or invite others along.
It will be a no glass BYOB event, but the cost for the weekend is $15.00 for bikes (and $20.00 for invited guests without bikes.)

On May 26 we will be at the Memorial Day parade in Lebanon,NH.On June 14th there will be a ride from Bradford,VT.On June 18th,there will be a ride from our Charter Chapter in Woodsville,NH.On July 4th The healing wall will be in Newport,NH ,and on august 23rd there will be the Rollins ride from Newport,NH.

On March 31st,2008 I did a mission for the Patriot Guard.It was for Sgt David (DJ)Stelmat.He was killed in Iraq.This was the first mission that I did and I will be proud to be there at the next one if need be.
I have never seen such a beautiful tribute for a fallen soldier than this.

Our chapter is now up and running and we will be participating in the funeral services for Specialist Stelmat in Littleton NH. Some of our members have joined the Patriot guard.
Our next event will be riding in the Memorial day parade on May 26th 2008.
There has been talk about possible starting a new chapter in Manchester and Epping NH. Also we will be forming a state chapter , to be developed soon. We have had Four flags donated to Chapter six. There are as follows: the American flag, POW/MIA flag, Legion Riders flag, and the American Legion Flag. Anyone interested in Joining the ALR., Our meeting are held on the second Sunday of every month at the American Legion Post 22 Mechanic Street in Lebanon, NH. The time of the meeting is 1PM.
