Welcome HomeThe American Legion, The American Legion Riders, and Get NeKED II are pleased to announce that on December 13th, we will be paying tribute to all of our American soldiers past and present with a long over due Welcome Home.Time: 2:00 p.m. to Close Where: The American Legion in Red Wing Drink specials: All rail drinks and beer for Veterans and family will be $2.25 Bloody Mary Special will be $3.00 each Food will be served between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. With special guest speaker: Monica Mead, State Captain, Minnesota Patriot Guard Performing will be Get NeKED II from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Nicollet Post #510 Fall RunSaturday, October 11th - Meet at the Nicollet American Legion 10:00 am. Run will be to the Redwood Falls area with lunch stop in Essig and a stop at Jackpot Junction in Morton. Will return to Nicollet for evening Steak Fry and social. Wednesday Night Dinner RidesAll Posts are invited to join us on our Wednesday night dinner rides. We meet atOsseo Post 172 5:30pm. Ride leaves at 6:00pm. We plan to visit as many Legions in the 10th district as the weather will allow. 1st ride: May 16th to Buffalo Legion 2nd ride: May 23rd to Excelsior & Mound Legions. 3rd ride: May 30th to Delano Legion. Also, please join us for our Steak Fry fundraiser on Friday July 13, 2007. We will be serving walleye $7.00, Steak $8.00 & steak/shrimp combo $10.00.
New ALR Chapter in MinnesotaNew ALR Chapter was formed at Post 320 in Hopkins. We have 14 members and have several more wanting to join. Our next meeting is this Saturday, March 17th, at 11 am. Come and join us or just stop by and say hi. We have several busy weekends coming up including helping Wayzata chapter 118 with their fundraiser on the 24th of March to benefit the Gillette Childrens Hospital and the Minneapolis Veteran's Home. A silent auction and great Blues Band, along with food, drink, and socializing for a great cause. Hope to see you there!
Gillette Childrens HospitalPost 118, Wayzata, MN ALR will be holding a Pork Chop/Shrimp dinner on Spetember 15th from 6 - 8pm. All monies received from this dinner will be donated the following day at the 41st Annual Fall FloodRun in Wisconsin to the Gillette Childrens Hospital.We invite all ALR/Legion Members as well the public to come take part in helping us raise donations to exceed what we donated this past Spring at the Spring FloodRun. In addition, the 10th district, Post 118 ALR invites all Minnesota/Wisconsin ALR to ride with us, show our colors and support on September 16th at the 41st Annual Fall FloodRun. |
