Davis, Post 47, 501 St John St, Havre de Grace, MD 21078 has started an ALR Chapter and are looking for members. You do not have to be a member of Post 47 but must be a member in good standing of the American Legion Family IAW the National ALR Constitution & By-Laws. Currently our meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of the month directly after the Post Executive Committeee meeting ends - usually.at 1930hrs. Please contact us at "Post47@verizon.net" for additional information. Legion Legacy Ride 2008If there are any Maryland Posts that are planning on riding out please contact me. We are leaving Reisterstown, MD on Friday Aug 15th. Planning on a relaxing 2 day ride to Indy to arrive Aug 16th. Get relaxed before the real departure on Sunday the 17th. If anyone would like to make a donation to the Post 116 ALR for the Legion Legacy Scholarship Ride, mail them to the Post with an earmark for the Legacy Ride. Thanks and I look forward to meeting new faces on the ride.
