 On October 4, 2008 , the American Legion Riders of Post 44, 711 State St. Newburgh, Indiana 812-858-9069 are having a poker run to benefit our American Legion Programs. ie; Legacy Scholarship Fund, Blue Star among others. First bike out by 10:00 a.m. Last bike in by 4:00 p.m. We will be serving Barbeque chicken and will have a Local Band for Entertainment at 5:00 P.M. The ride will be approximately 85-90 miles. 1-up hands $15.00 2-up hands $20.00. There will also be Door Prizes and Raffles. Hope to see you there. Thanx!

The 4th District in Northern Indiana is holding its 1st Spring Fling May 3 at Avilla Indiana.
We will be havnig a ride of about 80 mile, leather show and vendor, dinner followed by music and dancing. More infomation to come.

Fallen Heroes Ride May,18,2008 Our group puts this ride on to raise money for families of KIA in Northern In. $ 15 per bike or 20 for couple.Ride patch or T shirt , 50 to 60 mile escorted ride. Starts at Wal-Mart on Portage ave. South Bend ,In.Reg.starts at 8am Stands up at 11am We end at Osceola Post 308. Food & live band included. drinks extra.Good fun for all. Great cause to support. Would like to invite everyone to our 1 st.
Annual Fall Poker Run. Oct. 7 th. Registration
starts 10am. last bike out 12pm. $10. per person. Free Food..D J ...Band 9-1 am.
The 4th District of Indiana has lost a member. Chrisdy Hilker, our Secretary, was killed Sunday May 7th, in a motorcycle accident. Her funeral will be held Thursday May 11 in Fort Wayne at 11:00AM. It will be at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home at 6131 St. Joe Rd. There will also be visitation Wednesday evening from 5-8PM.
She will be missed--Our ALR Chapter is in a state of shock right now.
Please keep the family in your prayers.

The Churubusco Post 157 is having a fund raiser day to raise money to help vets who are having problems because of sickness or accidents. May 20,2006 Start 11AM till close. A Motorcycle ride, food available, DJ/Karoake, games of skill, A full day of fun!

A new ALR group was formed on 1/16/06 at Beech Grove Indiana post 276. There were about 8 new members in attendance. Helpful info and tech support was provided by members from the Speedway and the East side ALRchapters, Thanks. Were all looking forward to our next meeting and the election of officers.
