Pres. Post 107 ALR

Arizona ALRsWe are a newly formed chapter. We got started in July of 2007. We are currently 25 members strong.
We are sincerely interested in participating in any rides or events promoted by other ALR chapters. We feel that it is our duty to support as many of the Legion programs as possible, and since there are far too many for any one chapter to promote by themselves, we try to attend and support those events sponsored by other posts. So if you are having an event and are seeking participation by other chapters please contact me via the US Postal service, at Post 107 20001 N Cavecreek Rd Phoenix Az .

We are also interested in developing relationships with other chapters for nothing more than the friendships. We try to get together and go for a ride each week, so if any of you are interested in joining us we meet at Post 107 at 0900 Hrs every Saturday for breakfast, and decide where to go while enjoying the great food. If nothing else you should try to make it in for breakfast. I am proud to say that we offer the best breakfast around.

I hope I have the opportunity to meet and get to know everyone within the organization in the near future.

Operation Wounded Warrior

Arizona ALRsAlthough we are still working on establishing a Department level program for the ALR in AZ, we are working together to get some things done. Currently, we are working on Operation Wounded Warrior. This is a ride in conjunction with the ALR West Coast Rally.

We will be riding out to the WCR and then heading down the coast to Camp Pendletion and Balboa hospitals to deliver needed items to our returning wounded troops and to personally thank them for their service and sacrifices for our country.

Like most first time events this started with a simple idea of supporting our troops since we are going to ride out to CA for the WCR. It has grown to independent and other organizations getting involved. The date planning of the WCR and Operation Wounded Warrior conflict with ideas and we hope to resolve this in the future. But for now, we are happy to support our troops and meet with the our brothers and sisters at the WCR in Santa Maria.
